About Sandyos.
Sandyos is the founder of The Realm of Wellbeing — a cinematic film studio based in Gurugram. He is one of the few working filmmakers in India who holds a Master Mariner Certificate of Competency (Class 1) and has over 10 years of command experience.
A Master Mariner responsible for the safety of ships, cargo, and the lives of every soul on board. That kind of life teaches you things no classroom can. It teaches you to read what isn't obvious. To stay steady when the situation demands it. And above all, to understand that human beings, under pressure, under joy, under the weight of moments that matter — are the only thing worth paying attention to.
It was that understanding that brought him to film.
Not as a hobby. Not as a second career. But as the truest expression of everything the sea had taught him — that people carry stories inside them that deserve to be told with care, with honesty, and with the craft they deserve.
The Realm of Wellbeing was founded on that belief. Built in Gurugram by a filmmaker who came to cinema through seamanship, the studio exists for one reason: to make films that do something for the people in them, and the people who watch them. Films that restore. Films that honour. Films that say — you were here, and it mattered.
The team Sandyos has built shares that philosophy entirely. Every director, editor, and creative who works under this name understands that a film is never just footage. It is an act of wellbeing — for the bride who wants to feel her wedding day again twenty years from now, for the crew member who needs to know exactly what to do when everything goes wrong, for the soldier whose service deserves more than a photograph, for the family whose story is quietly disappearing.
We are storytellers. But more than that, we are keepers — of memory, of dignity, of the moments that make a life feel lived.
How we remember, changes how we have lived.
That is not just our tagline. It is the reason this studio exists.
